Murmurs participates in and facilitates various mutual aid efforts involving sharing resources with the community directly surrounding us and the creative community at large.


Introducing ๐๐ž๐ซ๐ฆ๐š๐œ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž at Murmurs an initiative to ๐’ข๐“‡๐‘œ๐“Œ ๐’ž๐‘œ๐“๐“๐‘’๐’ธ๐“‰๐’พ๐“‹๐‘’ ๐‘…๐‘’๐“ˆ๐’พ๐“๐’พ๐‘’๐“ƒ๐’ธ๐‘’ through the tenets of sustainability and mutual aid. Mutual aid describes the efforts people make through beneficially sharing to help others without seeking reward. It emphasizes reciprocity based on liberation. We believe in building a sustainable model of community support during this time of crisis and beyond. We are all fighting for each others struggles.

Community Fridge


Hosting a community fridge @southartsdistrictfridge to encourage redistribution and provide food + vital supplies.

Weekly Meal Project


Weekly meal program partnered with Mai Downs & Homey Made Meals to cook 30-40 meals in our kitchen utilizing surplus garden produce as well as community donations to distribute at LA CAN in Skid Row.


Herbal Mutual Aid Network (HMAN)


Partnership with Yves B. Golden (founder of Herbal Mutual Aid Network) to give away 100 goodie bags full of herbal health & beauty supplies to Black Trans and/or disabled people.
