A Curve of Many
by Cudelice Brazelton IV

A Curve of Many consists of new work in the form of painting, collage, sound, and sculpture which often blend in with the surrounding architecture by wrapping along corners of walls and intervening in the infrastructure of the warehouse gallery space. Brazelton combines self-fashioning cues with the preexisting industrial material in a particular space to reveal a set of codes which serve as a way to achieve autonomy within systems of power.
Cudelice Brazelton IV (b. 1991, Dallas) lives and works in Frankfurt. He attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture and studied at the Staatliche Hochschule für Bildende Künste, Städelschule.
