POWER DRESSING:

A collaboration between Third Magazine and Murmurs — POWER DRESSING showcases a collective of independent designers — 8 Palms, Fear Safe, Femail Forever, No Sesso, Phlemuns, and Poche — whose work resist mainstream aesthetics to promote an inner exploration through fashion and art. Each chosen designer translates the feeling of autonomy and power through their garments that is, in turn, reclaimed by the wearer.
Additionally, the presentation highlights a new form of performative expression that focuses on “othered space” – both physically and metaphorically. This space borders the runway and the gallery.
Following the fashion presentations, there will be an after party at Murmurs with DJs Kaili, Muñeka, Asmara, and Mia Carucci.
